New Canterbury Tales is back! From 13 September to 27 October, our project space Next will be transformed into a travel agency, and we'll set the time machine to 2071.

Is travelling to the future possible? Yes, it is. How, you ask? You can take various routes, but they all have one thing in common: imagination. Last year, you had the chance to meet the eight residents of New Canterbury. What have they experienced over the past year? Discover it in the future. Entry to Next is free, so step into the year 2071!

In addition to the future scenarios created during various workshops, the residents of Breda shared their ideas and dreams with artists Liselot Cobelens and Jochem van den Wijngaard. The artworks inspired by these are also on display at the museum. Plus, you can get hands-on and create your own future story through a game.
